We had heard so much about Iceland and it felt like everyone was visiting (and Iceland had the numbers to prove it!). But it still did not prepare us for the stark and epic beauty of the country. We did a road trip on the entire loop of the Ring Road and found that we could basically stop anywhere and take some incredible photography or drone footage just on the side of the road.
